400 George Street is a significant CBD site comprising of a 34-storey commercial tower, retail podium, and retail laneway named after the historical ‘Sydney Arcade’.
It was originally designed by Crone Partners and was completed in 1998. The retail frontage of ‘Sydney Arcade’ faces Pitt Street, Australia’s most valuable retail mall, and King Street, a major Sydney thoroughfare.
EVC was appointed to project manage the redevelopment of ‘Sydney Arcade’ to accommodate a large retail box tenancy, and activate the lower ground floor.
